Good effort. Agree with the other reviews of the 2016. It does improve when it warms up just a bit. Very pretty in the glass.

Very hazy deep pinkish orange. Nose is faint--a little strawberry and bready notes. Taste is also faint. Summer berries up front, a hint of baking spices, tapers into what I can only describe as sour candy. Not necessarily bone dry... just enough residual sugar to stick to your tongue. All together, a pleasant if not remarkable wine
