Not the Elk Cove Auction Lot, this is Zena Crown by Shane Moore and KJ from 2014. Wine is really good right now, dense fruit, spicy barrel notes. tasted the 2013 Slope bottling the next night and this is a much more complete vintage from that beaut in the Eola Hills.

Great example of an Oregon Pinot. Lots of potential.

Big black cherry, red licorice and cocoa nose. Same mouthfeel. Big and complex. Opens over time. Nice.

Amazing nose! Lots of red fruits with spices, earthy tones, meatiness and cigars. On the palate I get fresh ripe strawberries with subtle spices. The ripe fruit is the main focus on this wine.

Pale red in the glass. Fruit nose. Insanely smooth first sip. Ripe dark fruit sloshes about the tongue. Draw back has zero bite. Excellent flavor reveals a wine that can age into even more glory. High marks from me.
