While all of the other Croatian whites I’ve enjoyed on this trip have been bright and breezy seaside quaffers, this bottle really jumped out at me with its intense fruit (stone fruit and melon), stony and salty minerality, rich mouthfeel and ripping acidity. Not much natty winemaking on the islands unfortunately but this scratched an itch. Enjoyed with a really nice tuna tartar and homemade bread.
