Such a complex nose for the price. Earth and minerals adjoin spicy black fruit inside the schnozz. The palette is light-medium with a quick red and sour cherry nuance and a quick finish. Amazing how dark purple it is for how light it feels on the palette. Brilliant QPR at $9.

Apr 5th, 2020Not a bad old world wine. It doesn't have a great deal of what one would expect from France. Not overly minerally once you let it breath. Nice nose, good color, unfortunately flat at the back end.

Nice plum and cherry compote nose. Bit of bitterness. Dry and chocolate-y. Some funky-town. Southern French style and done well.

Not bad...very smooth with some dark fruit coming through...but it had a tar or rubber aroma that I wasn't jiving with.
