This is a fine #zinfandel with loads of bramble berry and a hint of smoke. My second taste reveals a bit forward acidity and it could be more complex. This was a stand-alone tasting without barbecue so it might be best paired that way.

It's so true #zinfandel pairs great with BBQ. Nice heady blackberry cassis nose, rich mouthfeel and long finish with light tannins.
