Finca Torrea Herederos del Marques de Riscal Rioja Tempranillo

Vintage 2017 | 👏🏼 for complexity in smell: classic eucalyptus lakritz spices cedar. Too young imo very good balance. I thought a High End Bordeaux, but… Rioja. Beautiful wine.

Dark and moody...but wants to be your pal. Fruits that are almost stewed with a depth that just shouldn't be at this price point. It's super volatile (like all their wines) and turns into a cherry Chapstick thing on the nose, this sounds bad but just isn't. Damn I want this on my list. Also there's fun art on the bottle, so that's a plus.

This wine was amazing and is the best example Rioja blend I have tried. The light went on for me. Deliciously blended perfect in every way.

Afrutado, suave en el primer contacto y con una larga prolongación aromática con frutos rojos. Suave caricia ácida. Envolvente en lengua y ligero en paladar

Bold wine as a Rioja should be, still a little to young for me but very pleasant. Nice spice, black fruit and some hints of tobacco and hay

Rich spicy great finish

Very smooth and good with spicy and red meat

Dark blood, can distinguish both purple and orange on the rim. Mahogany, leather, ash on the nose. Entry on the mouth slightly astringent, soft, dense cocoa. Extraordinary wine.
