Second bottle... No, not today... since its release. Smooth and easy to like. A good intro to Japanese whiskey, but obviously worth revisiting.

Smooth taste. Hints of green tea and flowers. Really great on the rocks. Impressed with my first Japanese whisky that I can recall.

Color is light yellow. Nose is dominated by fermented grains like intense sake. Taste is actually quite smooth with toffee sweetness and a bit flowering note. Some spiciness, apple cider, and zest in the aftertaste. Cost and value match each other.
