Big and powerful, decanted for 24 hours because it was immense and tight. Still could use some time, but drinkable now if you treat it right. Dark flavors, high acid, heavy body.

I’d like to have this with some cheese.

Power wine: dark fruit, big tannins and cassis. Not too bad for the price, but shorter mouthfeel. Interested to see it evolve now that it’s open

Fresh raspberry bushes.

A big old slap on the palette, powerful and flavorful.
Mint, anise, cherry cola, pepper, and toothpick wood. Lingering tones of blackberry acidity.
A great wine.
Always trust a Eric Solomon selection.

Tasted in 2014: GSM Blend. not especially strong aromas on first pour. Earthy, briary aromas and berries after let breathe. Good but not great. Could benefit from more decanting or cellaring.

2014. Mélange de grenache, Syrah et mourvèdre. Belle couleur rubis. On dirait une légère odeur de céleri!
Poivré, bien équilibré, facile à boire. À eacheter👍

A wonderful wine surely to satisfy a wide spectrum of tastes from the casual to the serious. A great red for the upcoming winter holidays when all my skiing buddies come to the Canadian Rockies. They will not be disappointed. This deliciously appealing medium body red presents a smooth long taste, moderate tannings, black cherries, earth, spice, smoke and pepper an enhancement from the 10% Mourvèdre blend. Coming off the slopes and sitting by the fire this wine will excel. Cheers

Tightly wound, nice tannins and minerality with a bristly fruit core. Benefits from lots of breathing time(a day) or pouring back and forth in a couple decanters.
