Fully expected this to be dead. Instead, it was a very fun drink. Probably the only '03 I've had that's not completely done.

2003. Plump yet full of energy. A grocery basket full of aromatics. Lovely.

Fantastic mature P-M. Screaming good. Layered. Complex and long.

Wonderful mature Puligny. Honeycomb, vanilla, popcorn, candied lemon peel, very spicy and gorgeous acidity. Great stuff.

Vivid and complex, this is drinking great right now. At the very end some bitterness shows up, and it's getting a little lean. But all in all it's surprisingly good! No sign of oxidation.
