Big oak, big butter, big tropical fruit notes. Some acidity is present. Nothing remotely subtle about it. Fun wine and would be great for parties. $7-ish per my coworker who found it at Trader Joe’s (a great value). The label looks like a Charles Smith Wine, so I’m thinking they’re producing it for TJ’s? Had it with a green salad and spinach tamales.

Wow, they named it right—butter. Also has some nice fruit and well balanced. Would buy again.

Big full flavor, with lots of peppery oak and butter, with light pear and apricot. Smooth and dry. From Trader Joe’s. Tasted 4 May 2022.
