Reserve Limited Release California Petite Sirah

Dark inky in color with a short purplish rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, sweet strawberries, raisins, vanilla, dried figs, smoke, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, earth, vegetables, graphite and peppercorn.

Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with blackberries, sweet plums, black currants, cherries, figs, licorice, cinnamon, coffee, mocha, tobacco, earth, light vegetables, pencil lead, milk chocolates, spices and peppercorn.

Medium plus in finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries.

This Petite Sirah from California is drinking very nicely now, spicy with a smooth mouthfeel. Well balanced with mild complexity, and a tangy ending.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up.

14.8% alcohol by volume.

Smells amazing. Taste isn’t amazing but lots of different flavors and a little spicy.

Plummy, jammy, light, smooth, with a smell sweeter than taste. Light acidity. Really enjoyable, easy red wine that paired well with burgers, pizza, and chicken Parmesan.

Alright, nothing to write home about

Grabbed it from Trader Joe’s. I think it was about 13 dollars, incredibly easy and smooth for the price. Great everyday bottle. Warm with cherry and chocolate, easy and light to drink.

Sweet, but lacked flavor and aroma.
