Raspberry, cherry cola, light oak spices, and autumn leaves. Good fruit intensity on vibrant yet smooth palate. Decent length on the finish.
At less than $20, this is a very impressive entry level bottling from Sanford. And Iā€™m surprised how well it ages. Seems they discontinued the line. That would be a shame.

Has a jammy fragrance with notes of spice, pepper and slight vanilla.
Drinks well with flavors of dark cherry/berry, spices and a bit of earthiness/leather. Finishes semi-smoothly with lingering jam and vanilla on the palate.
Great for being on sale at Costco for like $8-$9/bottle.

smells toasted (almost burnt) bread, cranberry, plastic, animal funk, potting soil, creme brulee
...mouth adds red plum- sweet oak- the wood here is very well integrated with smoky red fruit. nice.
