Aged this one a bit. Deep ruby red, very good clarity, highly extracted pigment. Cherry, black currant and white pepper notes in nose. Red fruit flavors, mint, white and black pepper finish. Good fruit, rounded mouthfeel, good acidity. Some skin astringency emerges after an hour. A lot to like here, ready to drink. I maintain this varietal rocks in WA state.

Dense inky purple red. Cassis, basil, raspberry notes with a hint of white pepper in nose. Same flavors as well in mouth. Some black pepper with length, and a touch of seed bitterness throughout. Medium weight tannin astringency in aftertaste with black pepper, butter and perhaps veg with an iron or metallic tinge. Good varietal character. Well balanced. Nice to see alcohol isn't too high. Decant for at least one hour. Only 56 cases made. Drink now.

Happy Record Store Day with an album that isn’t an RSD release. Fully Qualified Survivor by Michael Chapman and a killer Cab Franc from Isenhower Cellars . Music is hypnotic & mellow, wine is pretty much the same. Mostly dark cherries & light tannins. Near term drinker and a beautifully aged record. Happy RSD!

Mediocre. Too fruit forward and lacking structure. Acid unbalanced with too much oak. Lacking terroir.

Full bodied and good flavor but not peppery like I expect a cab franc to be.

Pretty damn good for a small operation, cheap wine. Strawberry jam with a mineral finish.
