Supple and sexy, this is anchored in purple and black fruits, accented with a wash of coffee liqueur. Further barrel-related flavors bring malted milk candy into the mix, yet the wine remains balanced and beautifully integrated, and none of the expressive flavors seem overdone.

When a friends texts and asks if you want tuna from his trip, the answers are; yes, please, Poke sounds good, and what should I drink w this?
Looks like Drouhin OR's Roserock with a little bottle age. Nose is tart red strawberry and orange oil, hibiscus tea. Medium bodied with fine tannins that leave a slightly astringent finish. Should have just the right heft to cut the richness of the tuna.

Ruby with red fruits and a bouquet of floral spice. On the palate blackberry, plum and cherry flavors with citrus and rustic notes of espresso, cacao and licorice wrapped in savory oak. Tannins a bit tight but open nicely, lingering ending with cedar spice. Very Nice!
