Really funky - the anti Albariño. Completely organic, bio, and nuts. Smells like champagne, sherry, and dried apples. Completely opposite of the nose is the palate - zingy, vibrant, palate cleansing. This is fun.

like every other comment- great label and high geek level. smells and tastes like something else! breaks the classicprofile box. smells to me like warm Maconnais pear fruit. punchy acid, thin watery finish after the medium body mouthfull. and a lingering nutty light savor, maybe like a light Lustau fino (since we're all comparing). I've gotta quiet down and let it be what it is :p

Way prettier on day two...not to be sacrilegious or anything but kind of reminds me of a Joly-like Savennieres that went to the tropics.

Nuts and lees. I can dig it. I'll be honest, I was charmed by the label

Briny and fresh gingery at the outset, poached green pear later, leesy goodness.

Ripe tropical fruits, salinity, and white flowers. Not the zipping acid bomb of an Albariño-- Eladio does it so differently.
