2014, Much better than expected, great wine for home, despite the flowers, it has berries, & is a deep, hard red.

This wine is a Silver medalist at prestigious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2016 and highly recommend by our Provincial liquor store. I don’t get it. Maybe just the bottle but I found it to be bland, low in acidity and basically boring. Only paid $20.00 CAD but even at that price point there’s so many options. Where did I go wrong, maybe I should have used it for cooking.
