Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

At $23 this isn't a big "wow" cab from Napa but it damn sure does the job when the girlfriend says she wants something oaky while Netflix-ing. Dark garnet in the glass with huge oak and spice on the nose, somewhat surprising when you taste and it's just a lovely,smooth experience. One of the few times the taste is better than the nose, I find.

Ok. Fruitier than I like my cabs- but not bad drinking.

$48 invino but not sure it is that value. Heavy cab we enjoyed but can’t see this as $125 bottle

Costco $29. Nice wine, full body, long legs.

Deep ruby, classic Napa. Oaky vanilla notes, blackberry, stewed plum, charcoal and pencil lead. High in alcohol but surprisingly not hot. Good now, will probably be great in ten years for lovers of Napa Cabernets.

On the sweet side. Just okay
