Talk show host Graham Norton has teamed up with New Zealand's Invivo Wines to create this 'Graham Norton's Own Sauvi-gn-on-blanc'. Unlike a lot of celeb wines, Norton was a definite part of the process in creating this Marlborough Sauvy B with the wine blending setup (i.e measuring jugs, tasting glasses, grape pressings) flown to London so Norton could add his 'Norton Hemisphere' magic as he puts it, under the watchful eye of Invivo Chief Winemaker, Rob Cameron. The blend is made up of Sauv grapes from 3 Marlborough vineyards. RRP $20 at BWS.
Naturally I had to sit down with this bottle on a Friday night when The Graham Norton Show was on. It was my lucky day too as Ryan Gosling was on the show and what girl wouldn't want to spend an evening drinking vino with Ryan!
The vino is a baby yellow shade on the eye. It has a vibrant passionfruit driven nose with a touch of sweet capsicum. The palate is zippy and racy with flavours of citrus, pear, honeysuckle and melon coming through. With a touch of flamboyant flair, a sprinkle of wit and a 5 star entertainment palate factor - Graham Norton's Own Sauvignon Blanc is a fab expression of the Irish comedian and Kiwi Sauv Blanc!

2022 Vintage was served with soup and salad. Not as fruity as the earlier vintage that we tried, but still smooth and refreshing.
