'04 Clos Des Papes. Violet hues and muted but fresh nose. Gripping but refined tannins, roasted meat, herbs, pepper, spice box, dark brooding delicious fruit. Very fun wine.

Big and beautiful, cherry and raisin and blackberry nose and palate, really softened after an hour.
