Good, not great. Nose is extremely understated, showing mostly alcohol with big oak notes. Finally opened up with some subtle dark fruit after an hour or so. Mellow at most on the palate. Light and not particularly fruity, some metallic notes. Enjoyable, if not super memorable.

smells of earth, a little animal, candied red licorice... this has lots of oak and red fruit...does not feel particularly terroir driven....where is the delicate minerality, red berries and mencia subtlety? :(
