Not usually a Malbec fan, but that tiny 10% addition of Cabernet really makes a difference. Nice aromas, decent taste, for the right price I would buy it again.

Terrible representation of malbec...thin, light in color, black pepper and smoke dominate, acid greater than tannin and alcohol medium with short finish...

Sometimes you have a dinner party. Sometimes a guest gifts you random swill and you drink it a week or two later and it turns out to be extremely pleasant. Other times you want to find a sociological explanation for why white boomers dig Malbec so much (100% chance my friend pilfered this from his stepfather’s collection). This is the former. And the latter.

Unintentionally went all South America tonight and this was the WOTN. 90% Malbec smartly cut with 10% Cab. Takes the edge off the fruit and elevates it ever so slightly above your garden variety offerings from Mendoza.
