Big fruit without being over the top or out of balance. If you like a fruit-forward Californian Red Blend, this one provides good QPR for around $30 retail.

From Trinchero Family Estates, a blend of 60% Cab Sauv and 40% Merlot, dark Ruby with bold dark fruit and floral spice aromas. On the palate, ripe fruits, blackberry and cherry with espresso, cinnamon and tar notes. Dusty tannins, some oak with earthy tones on a medium plus finish. Nice offering, but I think ‘12 was a bit better! The Merlot makes it good to drink now, but let this develop a bit.

A revelation. I would rather pay the $40 bottle price in the store than the $80 at Ruth Chris but really delicious and affordable nonetheless

This red blend is fantastic. Great deep, dark fruit flavor, with a little licorice and cedar. Needs to sit in the glass for a good 20 minutes to open up.

Tasteless. Offers no wow factor. Dry. It's fine.

Great wine to sip on but doesn't pair as well as we would've liked but frankly for the price it's a steal and well crafted.

Probably best to drink young. Good vanilla nose with plenty of plush black fruit and licorice in the mid palate. Finish short.
