Clos de la Grange Touraine Sauvignon

Another nice one from Chidaine. This is a pleasant and fun entry level wine from them. I’ll definitely be buying more of it!

Passion fruit, melon, and white peach, little grass, fresh and crisp.

Melon, citrus, tropical fruit. Sharp acid. Clean but not magical.

low-key offering typical of loire sauvignon blanc - plenty of grass, chalk, and acid to pair with seafood. less grapefruit, more melon. 2014 not as balanced as previous vintages, but a solid bottle nevertheless

Buttery and crisp, enjoyed with a sweet & tangy tofu stir-fry.

Fruit, Mellon, Pear, along with moderate mineral tones, mild acidity and floral characteristics. Went well with oysters and cheese bits. Do not drink too cold.
