Great Rioja, black cherry, subtle tannins, silky and elegant with good acidity to complement. I don’t quite get the 95 points, but this wine is delicious. And still very drinkable the next day.

If this wine was a soccer player, it would be Jozy Altidore: Tall, dark, handsome, robust, and a born winner. If only he were Spanish too.... also... Tasted on two separate occasions with lamb (night #1), beef (night #2).
On night #2, you could taste more the spice than on night#1.
