Let’s be Melodramatic now! 50% Damsel 50% Villain. Paired with a mild (tastes very sharp to me) Derby cheese with dried sage. The wine is a bit too sweet for me but the cheese is great! đŸ•·

Dark, clear ruby. Abundant nose of plum and black cherry. Medium palate of plum, black cherry, and a vanilla cream sheen. Low tannins. Medium minus acidity. A classic fun California red that’s at home at cookouts and other casual affairs. The low astringency makes for an excellent accompaniment to chili, picadillo, or other spicy meat dishes. Hard strong cheeses would be nice, too. Drink now.

Ghastly. Maple syrup and cherry syrup. An indistinct sugar bomb. Reminds me of Apothic Red.

Love this red blend. Gently bites the tongue with no tannin aftertaste. Very smooth.

Not bad at all. Truly displays the terroir of McFarland. Great buy for the price.
