Back to basic with a pure bottle of merlot. Smooth and rounded indeed. Just run s down your mouth like silk. Tart apple and plum, but all under the overcast of a distinct peppery note. Lots of toasted oak in street taste. Almost like caramel nuts. Medium to high tannin

Tastes like a well made California Merlot. You really can’t expect better for the price. You’d be hard pressed to find better for twice the price, honestly. Fruity but not sweet. Hint of bourbon. Easy buy
