13’ Judge Palmer G lll. Ruby red in color. Ready to roll!! The palate is full of black fruits-reveals layers of silky, refined tannins & a firm structure. Providing power with finesse & grace. Drinking now, another decade in it.
This is significantly better then the 2012.

@Martin G Rivard thank you sir - the best of the Judge Palmer is the 12 but might be tied with 13 - I am going to sending a pleading email or call to the winery asap to purchase some - amazing and thank you Santa - Merry Christmas - an amazing πŸ˜‰- badass wine

@Martin G Rivard strikes again and I was happy I unwrapped Santa's tasty generous gift before Christmas. Thanks again brother. This was youthful but very well made and ready to go now. Paired perfectly with Waygu strip, Filet mignon and Clippers corn hole. Cassis, vanilla, cedar....clean and rich, fine grain tannins and silky texture with some great length. Plus, I love the scales of justice on the bottle. It's on my desk and it's making me thirsty.

Checking out the -12 Georges III from my Santa Pack. Killer nose of bramble, spice, dirt and menthol. Oak and tannins are more integrated than the -11 in my view. Very smooth already. Dark fruited palate with chocolate and vanilla. Sweeter finish like the -11. This is serious shit @Palmer Emmitt ! #@Martin G Rivard is the man

Delicious. 2011 bad year ,? Not from this jury of my peers. ! Red bell pepper, black cherry, and dried herbs with a touch of jalapeno. Tannins linger with a nice dark deep red color. Nose of dark fruits. Here's to you Palmer@Palmer Emmitt

It’s become our Christmas dinner tradition. This wine is amazing. Take you cult wine and blind taste it against this one. I dare you!!!

Here come da Judge. Spiced orange peel and molasses. One more bottle to go. Going to try and hold out another year as this keeps getting better and better. Eye watering nose.

Wifey is in raptures about this tonight. Very exotic wood treatment. Shitty vintage, but boy, Palmer and Co pulled off some acrobatics here.

I don't remember my tasting notes but I remember going back to this so many times the Republic reps had to shoo me away. Sooo freaking good. Old school meets new school in the best way possible with that George III pedigree!
