This is anything but your typical jammy, ripe, high alcohol California Zinfandel. If tasting blind one could be forgiven for thinking this is a rich, ripe Tempranillo. Ruby red in the glass, but light intensity for a Zin. Medium intensity on the nose with blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, a hint of bramble and sweet tart candy. Dry on the palate with plenty of mouthwatering acidity. Strawberry, blueberry with a hint of bittersweet chocolate and vanilla. Rich yet crisp and clean. Long finish. This is not your dad's Zinfandel.

Cool wine, but hard to peg as a Zin. So much warm, ripe fruit character without jamminess, extraction or elevated alcohol. Really curious what this looks like in a couple years. Another winner from @Morgan Twain-Peterson .

Beautiful bouquet and so very delicate on the palate for a Zin. Definitely would like to see Morgan make more of this.

Thin & pale. Missing depth and richness of Bedrock I've come to expect. Not bad, but definitely not "Bedrock".
