93 points (Australian wine showcase) and not to disappoint! Dark inky fruits, plenty of ground black pepper on the nose and pallet, and a gamey undertone wrapped by earthy, slate-like minerals. Pair with grilled meats for sure, and would even be a great change from zinfandel!

Acidity first: Not used to that out of a Shiraz. Spiciness second: Right on cue. Not as big and dark as most of its cousins... but all things considered, an agreeable Shiraz.

Jip Jip Rocks is a hip hip hooray wine. Cherry, plum and blackberries give this a warm, deep flavour with a some spice and smooth tannin. It is a deep ruby red that offers aromas of fruits, vanilla and a little hint of old fashioned boot polish (if that doesn't sound mad or pretentious).

Not my husband’s favorite, might have needed a different food pairing.
