Gracefully aged GG from maybe the best vintage in Germany in the last decade. Beautiful melange of peach, white flowers, herbal notes and a mineral component. Hint of sweetness on the palate but nice medium body, still good structure, long finish.

2018 Großes Gewächs tasting An enticing, exotic nose full of yellow plum, peach, tangerine peel, orange blossom. Some white pepper and cloves too, perhaps a whiff of ginger. Great flow on the palate with clean, pure fruit and an mineral acidity finishing everything nicely with a pinch of white pepper in the long finish.
