Bought a handful of 2012s a while ago & love what age does to these- more rounded, deeper. The fruit still vital. Not sure why this producer seems low on the radar. About 20$ for such high quality and the pedigree of the site shows too.

Jun 2nd, 2020Drinking at such a beautiful peak now—7yrs of bottle age gives it a crystalline depth. A bit of a growl at first whiff, the petrol, but the sweetness is also still on the nose. On the palate, full, quince & guava,, dried lemon curd, all nuanced & in balance. If anything this has teeth-a feminine but faded toughness. I like that the RS still rocks. An Urzinger site.

2015-07-16 5 year anniversary dinner with sandy at dovetail. Smooth fruity start with good acid body and nice complex finish.
