Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Dark Ruby with fresh ripe berry fruit flavors with floral spice notes. On the palate, bold cherry and raspberry flavors with herb and citrus notes. Fine tannins on long finish ending with fruit and slight earthy character. Drink now while it’s fresh, will benefit from short-term aging.

Nice Willamette Pinot. Cherry cola, forest floor, hint of vanilla, soft tannins, sassafras, raspberry and good acid. Nice with salmon.

The first Alchemist vintage, here at age 10, an exploded brett bomb in the Burgundy mold, displaying beaucoup detractive attractions. A wine with an honest soul intertwined with corrupt flesh and blood. One feels one shouldn’t hang out with it but then there’s it’s unabashedly flawed, yet honest and generous company deserving of respect.

Un peu chaud en alcool à mon goût, mais très bien réalisé.

Label got better, wine got worse, but blame it on a tough vintage. Smoky and herbal and underripe.

"Ethereal, effortless." Terroir, mouth feel, and balance, all present. Finishes short and discrete. No foul lingering acid here.
