a Portuguese red blend from dao.
made from baga and jaen (mencia in Spain).
20% whole clusters fermentation.
20 months in 🌳(big vessels and also small French barrels).
12.5% ABV
on the pale side of red 👀
medium - body.
medium + acidity.
medium tannins.
medium intensity of black and red 🍒with some blueberries and Blackcurrant, high mineral earth, hinted smoke and cloves 👄
quite juicy with medium + 🎯
balanced and different but not that impressive.
feels very young.
