Raconteur Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

Wowza - big time spearmint, took 90 minutes to blow off - almost gave up on this wine but then it revealed stunning layers of gorgeous dusted cherry, spice cake, blackberry, plum, pomegranate, cocoa, cassis, smoke and vanilla. Beautifully integrated tannins, depth & lift. Fascinating

Steady flavor in each sip with good body. A nice cab!

Typical cab aroma, but the flavor steers differently. Juicy flavor with spice/pepper notes.

Light great cab. Cherry and much berry. Oakton wine.

Soft tannins but tastes creamy maybe rather young

Nice acidity and tannin... A hint of mint in the nose which is unusual. Not complex - straight forward and enjoyable.

A little tight when it first goes in and finishes a little overdry. A big sip balances and makes a nice drink. Holds up well to food.

Shows strong ‘typicity’; very pleasant ‘creamy’ mouthfeel but lacking a dimension in flavour. Additional ageing would have helped...
