Review of the TJs Petit Reserve 2013 Chardonnay from Paso. Totally drinkable, but just not great in any way.

Color of light gold, a bit bubbly. Nose of ripe fruits, combination of banana, pineapple, and mango, a bit lychee, and a bit crayon indeed. Taste follows the nose with more lychee and ripe fruit, some bittersweet grapefruit, a bit nutty also. Nice mix of acidity and sweetness. Aftertaste is medium and leaning towards grapefruit flavor, a bit warmth from alcohol. Above average.

Would not buy again, could use a touch of oak, not my style, seems more Burgundian.

Clean peary no oak. I like it, Mary doesn't.

Drinkable but not my favorite. I still like Toasted Head better

Agree, totally drinkable, but not my favorite style. This is very tart, like green apples in a glass. Said lightly oaked, but seems more like a steel fermented Chardonnay. Mineral and acid more pronounced. $6.99
