Off the list at River Cafe in Brooklyn. Nice bright reddish tawny color. Fruity nose. Nice fruit and structure in the mouth. Served it’s purpose well tonight.

A dainty and light hearted wine with little structure. Faint strawberry on the nose. Thin. A Prius showed up when a Mini Cooper was expected.

Pure, fresh brambly berries with elegant finesse. Just enough grip & spice to add complexity textures and flavors. A little orange peel & black tea come through on the nose and return on the back end of the palate. Not the most well known vineyard, but one which certainly delivers here.

Sipping Fine Wine

Medium Ruby color with juicy red fruit and floral aromas. On the palate raspberry and cherry flavors adding a touch of oak and spice. This medium-bodied Pinot has vivid acidity and smooth tannins from the 10 months of aging that bring this wine to a lingering finish, however more time is needed in order to reach its full potential.

Really pleasantly surprised with this one, not a vineyard I had heard of, but my favorite of the Ken Wright lineup. Youthful, elegant.
