Just released. The new floral study no. 2 Sanguis white blend. Just the craziest I have had yet. Out of line as a predecessor and narrow and straight are to blame for the path that set this one.

Amazing honeysuckle nose (one of the best noses around, really). Starts with tropical fruit, but finishes very dry. Viscous. Exceptional long finish for a white.

70% chardonnay and 30% roussanne from bien nacido and watch hill vineyards, this is full of those hot metal and black pepper mineral notes I love in amazing white burgundy, but has a rich texture, full body, and some pineapple fruit that says unmistakably i-live-in-the-sun. Stunning and finessed and balanced, I've never found these flavors in Cali chard before. 2012 vintage.
