Green pepper, garden green stalk, medium bodied and dusty little chocolate powder tannins. A classical good wine for everyday, or another one in Quarantine..

Simple. Quaffable. Missing a bit of tannic structure, so it feels a little confected. Day two brings more of the bell peppery spice I was hoping for.

Juicy blackberry dipped in dark chocolate, piney raisins, tobacco leaves and a dash of black pepper. Soft, rich, easy finish. It's the tango - slow and sultry, a flash of bare leg, a twist of berry stained lips, a simmering lust.

Carmenere grapes from Chile, 2011. Bottle tasted in July 2014. First I must admit that I'm not familiar with wines from Chile, I found this to be more of a winter wine, pleasant and rather well made. Not easy to pair with summer food.

My fav red wine.

Good for the price. Got it at Trader Joes for 8$.

Ruby color rasberry slight eucalyptus on nose. Soft on palette with slight spice. Early peak and well balanced.

So good. Amazing blend of flavors. This is the first Carmenere we've tried and it will not be our last!
