On a cold, snowy subzero Fahrenheit night with the fireplace roaring Mrs A and I decided to switch from the more traditional winter wines to a summery Sauvignon Blanc from the Okanagan’s Mission Hills Estate. This lovely balanced wine displays aromas of grapefruit, lemon, lime and may I say herbaceous notes and its crisp finish was a perfect match for Christmas leftovers of turkey, ham, whipped potatoes and cranberry sauce. This is an enjoyable and approachable wine year-round that is worthy of your attention. Cheers 🍷🇨🇦

Had at Cioppino's Mediterranean Grill. Crisp, clean, light, and refreshing. Medium-dry. Easy to drink.

Nov 30th, 2021This one has a great lemon-lime and almost tropical nose that draws you in. Gooseberry on the palate with more of that lemon... A light grassiness as well... Very bright and alive. We don't buy much Mission Hill due to a less-than-stellar customer service experience years ago in their tasting room, but here's one that would be great outside in the summertime.
