Tart cherry, cranberry, smoke, and cedar box. Smells of dried spicy red peppers at times. Really earthy, stinky, terroir driven, natural Bordeaux from a biodynamic producer. Old school rusticity with powdery tannins and good acidity ito suggest this has another 4-6 years of good drinking in it.

What a fantastic value wine from Bordeaux. Merlot dominated blend with flavors of plum, blackberry, and raspberry coulis, along with mild baking spices and a rich textured finish. This wine just glides across your pallet because the tannins are so well integrated. This wine is a great introduction to Bordeaux.

Had with Xmas Prime Rib. Tannins well integrated. Not very complex but enjoyable and still showing some primary fruit.
