Ruby in color with a wide reddish/brick rim.

Fruity nose of blueberries, cherries, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, spices, earth, barnyard, vegetables, smoke and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with black currants, black plums, oak, licorice, cloves, earth, vegetables, vinaigrette, vanilla, tobacco leaf, spices, beef jerky and peppercorn.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.

This is an above-average Primitivo from Puglia, Italy. Not fully balanced any longer, but drinking nicely even by itself. A little oxidized, though.

Has a nice mouthfeel, and an enjoyable tangy ending. A good everyday wine.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

86 points.

$14.

Ruby in color with medium intensity and a reddish rim.

Fruity nose of cherries, plums, light oak, licorice, spices, milk chocolates, tobacco leaf, spices, graphite and black pepper.

Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with cherries, raspberries, red currants, oak, smoke, light vanilla, graphite, chocolates, mocha, sweet herbs, earth, river rocks, spices and black pepper.

Nice finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a nice Primitivo from Italy. Well balanced with mild complexity. Good right out of the bottle with a nice mouthfeel (after 20 minutes of airtime).

A good beginner red wine and great for parties. It has a screw top, so you can take it anywhere, which I liked.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a nice sunset by the lake.

I'm pretty sure this is wine, but it tastes like cooked grapes that have sat in a container on a loading dock during a 5 week union strike.

Definitely has old world all over the nose: red bell peppers, oak, and cooked plum. The palate shows cinnamon spice, and cherry-plum compote with a zingy finish. I am almost certain the alcohol has risen in the five years with further fermentation as it appears higher than the printed 13.5. Great for the price!

Initially seems bold and fruity but lacks some depth and complexity. Very drinkable though. Reminds me of a deep luscious Pinot vs a Zin. Good price to enjoyment ratio.

My favorite last minute pickup for a unique "dinner party wine", and it's great with pasta! Warm and rich textures on the tongue with robust flavors of raspberry jam, plum & dark chocolate, with a peppery finish. #pastawine #itsmyjam #cakeinaglass #layercake

A little peppery and slightly tannic. I thought drinking out of my Packer wine glass would be good luck-not so much! Maybe it's the wine!
