Has potential if they change the barrels, way to much oak

Santa Rita fruit meets burgundy structure. Lively and ready to drink

Tobacco, red fruit, Forrest floor nose. Pouch tobacco, cedar, lacking a bit of fruit on the palette. Needs time to open up. Not my favorite

Pure sex, reminiscent of a Vosne-Romanee on steroids, this beauty has concentrated red berry fruitiness, but also freshness and sweet, grainy tannins, providing lift and interest. Nice oak treatment too.

Mesquite. Jerky. Almost burned brown sugar.

Plenty of ripe fruit as expected from 2013, and lots new oak, a little overwhelming at first but much better integrated by day 2.

We had the 2014 Vintage on 4/29-30/22. This is our vertical tasting. The 2014 is just a better wine. There is black cherry, some plum and oak and earthiness to this wine. A nice finish. This did not have that pepper like the 2016. This is closer to an American PN. The 2016 was a 93 vintage and 2014 was a 90. Oh well

We had the 2016 Vintage on 4/29-30/22. Medium bodied and New World. Just not a good wine. Some tastes of red cherry but the pepper is overwhelming. Too many better wines.

Definitely not for us.

Nice clean pinot. Mineral like a Burgundy but without the depth and complexity.
