The First Date California Roussanne Marsanne

As I like to say, they grow everything at the Stagecoach Vineyard. Quite nice.

12' The first Date. This wine is 70% Roussanne & 30% Marsanne. Love this wine at Cellar temperature.

12' Jeff Cohn, The First Date. If this was the first kiss , I'll have another. I let it open up in the glass for 45 minutes. A short decant wouldn't hurt. He certainly makes full- bodied white wines that pairs with food. On the nose I get a plethora of citrus flavors. The palate lemon curd, steely/mineralities & pineapples. Bright acidity & bone dry. Personally I would wait 6 months, and it will undoubtedly last another 5 years.

oaky and hot in the nose and palate. vanilla butterscotch and white pepper notes

Lovely white Rhône-blend. Rich and dense but it does have sufficient acidity and freshness to keep it far from turning into flabby. After this First Date I’m going for a second.

Unique, bright and crisp.

It's representative but just not my favorite. May grow on me. Let's see. Definitely has some punch and not a wallflower.
