The entire Gassier lineup makes me want to drink more wines from the Costieres de Nimes. At their best these are some of the most underrated and underpriced wines in France.

Deep red colour with violet highlights. After decanting we were getting black fruit, cherry and earthy notes on the nose. Dense and velvety body offering a plated of chocolate, herbs, pencil lead with a fruity finish. Paired with steak frites.

Medium to full bodied, rich flavored wine. Very flavorful with some spice and darker berries. Decent to sip. Allow some time to breathe.
