Ripe cherries and maraschino cherry liquor, sweet blueberry, tart cranberry. Exotic spices, compost and barnyard. Grippy tannins, medium+ body balanced with good acidity. 2015 Bojos have me confused. These are big, fleshy wines, altering my expectations of the gamay grape. I think I prefer the leaner vintages, easier to drink and less brooding.

Red berries and some barnyard on the nose. Lots of tart blueberries and sour cherries on the palate, followed up with a pleasant minerality and hints of baking spices. Very light body, but great extraction. A simple and satisfying example of Gamay. Served at cellar temperature, this is perfect for a warm afternoon on the patio.
