Solid contender. Subtle licorice with pepper. Only a tad sugar left, but it fades after open. Really, really good.

Great with food. Enough acidity to almost be refreshing. Has a roasted meat quality to the mid palate, finishing with a bit if Italian barnyard. Good on a budget.
