Label says full-bodied but it tastes light to medium. Still good.

Deep ruby with pink translucent rim. Big pretty nose of anise, cassis, tobacco, vanilla leather, blackberry, and smoke. Thin bodied highly acidic tart wash of red cherry and cranberry to the palate gives way to black pepper, cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla. Tiny tannins lead to a short slightly bitter finish. Balance shifted to nose and structure relies too much on blended grapes producing a pseudo zin. Fair value at $12.99 USD but more a third act at a dinner party than steak buddy.

This wine is medium dark in color and has dark notes on the nose - plums, blueberries, cassis. The oak aspect of the aromas is not overpowering, but it is definitely there. The palate tastes somewhat sweet, with fruit and oak spice showing right up front. A savory angle comes in later - forest floor and minerals, mostly. The tannins are workable, but not overbearing. This wine won’t make Napa vintners run scared, but it is a pleasant bottling and a pretty good everyday wine.

Very fruity! Strange fragrance. Didn't really enjoy it. Debated whether or not to finish. Expected more of a full body traditional cab.

Not bad but not great. Too young but also not enough flavor to age properly.

Holy fruit! Loads of unusual black and blue fruit such as blackberries and blueberries, hint of cinnamon spice on the back end. Deep purple color. Medium to medium plus acidity. Firm tannins, light oak, long silky finish. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah, Sangiovese. Not bad!

On a clearance end cap for $10, thank you to my bother for the find! Extracted but yummy, drinking nicely! Dark berries, oak, cassis, damp earth and cherry Lifesavers. Medium body, mild tannins.

Pale. Not much flavor. Meh. Certainly not a full-bodied red, as the label suggested. 2015 vintage.

Sight: very dark, ruby red outer towards the glass. Becomes a more dull red upon swirling. Heavy effervescence upon pour. Smell: very light smell. Black cherry, current. Other than that not a whole lot of nose going on. Taste: acidity is medium plus. Somewhat dry.
