Magnum. Enjoyed it but having this after the 95 burgundy was a big step down. That being said, I'm not well versed in Oregon pinots but this was a nice one.

Deep Ruby with red fruit aromas with oak and spice. On the palate intense raspberry and cherry flavors with silky tannins, cedar and spice. The is well balanced and lingers nicely with mineral tones on the ending.

This 08 is outstanding and provides a vivid glance of why the 08 s will be with us for even more time to come. This is an exquisite wine with soul and breathe. Distinguished character expressing terroir and full fruit that gently and fully expressing across the entire palette. She is to be adored and honored in the prominence attributed to the tradition of her full expression.

A special buy, but actually not remarkable. Passable, decent, not offensive, but like a mild rubber balloon.

Had a 2009 vintage in January, 2017. Very floral and feminine in nature. Fruits were tending toward the bitter bright red spectrum: cranberry, rhubarb, raspberry, pie cherry.
I was a little disappointed overall by how this had aged. Admittedly, 2009 wasn't the most ageable vintage. It was a very hot year and I think that took its toll on this wine. There was a touch of nail polish and metallic graphite. The fruit and body also fell apart very quickly in the glass, to where the last sip was almost undrinkable.
Past it's prime.
