Dark purple with near black core. Inviting nose of blueberry compote and ash. Echoed on the lush full palate which freshens the blueberries and adds ripe blackberries, juicy (medium plus) acidity, and firm but supple tannins from entry to lengthy finish. A classic warm climate PS. Lots of black and blue fruit, body, and tannins. Steak is its friend of course, but it would show very well as a sipper with medium to hard cheeses. Drink now through 2032.

Nothing Petite here...

Inky in color with a purple rim.

Beautiful nose of blackberries, dried figs, raisins, sweet cherries, cooked strawberries, vanilla, cedar, light earth, light vegetables, licorice, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, bell pepper, green herbs and black pepper.

Full bodied, smooth and bold, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet cherries, fig jam, licorice, vanilla, wood, chocolates, caramel, alcohol, dark roasted coffee, spices and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.

This wonderful Petite Sirah from California is drinking nicely now, but will be better in a year or two.
Showing nice complexity with a great mouthfeel. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself.

A great sipping wine. It is still showing some vegetable notes, that will go away with time, and some alcohol.

Needs an hour to open up, but good right out of the bottle. Rich, extracted and a little Jammy. This is just yummy.

Beautiful violet color. Sweet and inviting aroma of dark berries and brown sugar. Medium body, leathery tannins, lots of plum and raisins. Can be drank right away even though is 2015. Good depth for how young this wine is. About $23. Great value!!!! Will definitely buy again.

2014 Macchi Dubious Petite Sirah is 15.5% alcohol. In your face, chocolaty, big fruited wine. Deep rich color with Intense and full bodied mflavors. Tannins are relatively soft. Lovely cocktail Petite Sirah.
