Apr 12th, 20152013 vintage... Super modern style with zero typical south African funk. Drinks more like a lean and racy Grenache from Australia. Touch up Earth and stony characteristic with tons of bright cherry fruit and cocoa.

I really enjoyed this one from its ruby red colour in the glass to its smoky leg ham and cherry 🍒 nose. Those cherries then mingled with flavours of raspberries and earthy olives and pepper in my mouth. Yumo! The Wine Gallery suggest to match this with Bobotie, another South African dish I am eager to try.

Very nice NZ red. More dry than sweet but with a nice moderate dark red fruit taste. Easy sipper.
